#happynewdays is a cystic fibrosis awareness campaign promoted by Associação Nacional de Fibrose Quística and for Associação Portuguesa de Fibrose Quística supported by Vertex and implemented by GCI.
The campaign consisted in a movie showing a cystic fibrosis patient and his family and aiming to bring all population together around this disease, by showing the value of small moments in life on social media. The communication strategy also contained a media relations plan. 20 news were published in national media, the campaign garnered, in three weeks, 1.747 fans on Facebook Page, and the movie had more than 54k views.
